Actor, Producer David A.R. White – Are You Contributing To the Lightness Or Darkness? | Episode 101

David A.R. White was raised in a small Mennonite farming town outside of Dodge City, Kansas. At the age of 19, he moved to Los Angeles to begin what would quickly become a successful career as an actor, writer, director, and producer. Since then, he has starred in nearly 20 feature-length films, including Mercy Streets, Six…The Mark Unleashed, Brother White, Me Again, Revelation Road 1, 2, and Black Rider, and many others.

Though he has many credits to his name, David’s career hit new heights in 2014 with the release of his film God’s Not Dead. It soon became one of the most successful independent faith-based films of all time, making his studio, Pure Flix, the most successful Christian film production company in the industry.

In the series’ highly anticipated latest installment, God’s Not Dead – A Light in Darkness, Pastor Dave Hill faces an unexpected setback when his beloved church burns down — prompting the officials at the adjoining university to try and kick his congregation off campus. Battle lines are quickly drawn between the church and the community as the reverend now finds himself at odds with his longtime friend — the president of the school. Facing a legal battle, Hill soon seeks help from his estranged brother — a big-city lawyer and atheist — in a fight to help rebuild the church.
