The Power in Questioning God – Author, Veteran, Ron Bracy

Dr. Ron Bracy, a retired minister, and sought after conference speaker, served in the U.S. Air Force for 42 years and is a veteran of the Vietnam War where he flew 183 combat missions. He was on duty in the Pentagon on 9-11-01 during the terrorist attack.  His only son, Todd was killed in Afganistan.  Ron has seen his fair share of tragedy.

In his book, Walk On: From The Valley Of Despair To The Mountaintop Of Praise, Ron uses the writings of the ancient Hebrew prophet Habakkuk as a roadmap to guide the reader out of the Valley of Despair.

Ron and I talk about:

  • Does God want us to question Him?
  • How can God be a “Good God” by allowing suffering and tragedy?
  • Why does praise play a significant role in overcoming despair?
