I grew up a HUGE professional wrestling fan.  I remember going down to Cincinnati Gardens here in Cincinnati in the front row watching epic battles with Ric Flair, Tommy Wildfire Rich, Buzz Sawyer, Ricky Steamboat, The Fabulous Freebirds, Arn and Ole Anderson.  When wrestling was in town, I was the first in line for tickets.  To this day, I have boxes of 1980’s era wrestling pictures, magazines, and memorabilia.  Professional wrestling was a significant part of my childhood.  I certainly remember today’s guest, The Million Dollar Man, Ted DiBiase.

Ted is a WWE Hall of Fame professional wrestler, best known for his role as the villainous “Million Dollar Man” of the WWE; watch the video below to see just how “villainous” of a role he played. He is now a full-time evangelist and a speaker in churches, youth groups, men’s meetings, corporate businesses, and in public schools and universities all over the world. Ted is married to his lovely wife Melanie of 31 years and they have three sons: Michael, Ted Jr, and Brett.

Ted’s new documentary THE PRICE OF FAME tells his story of the price he paid for fame, money, power, and prestige … and how he learned what’s important in life; devotion to family and friends, giving of yourself to others and building strong character and integrity.

We start off by peeling back the curtain on professional wrestling and the life of a wrestler; both inside the ring and out. You’ll hear names like Ric Flair, Junk Yard Dog, Harley Race, Roddy Piper, The Funk Family, Andre the Giant, Shawn Michaels, Sting, Jake Roberts and more.

We’ll hear about his relationship with his now deceased dad, Iron Mike Dibiase and the touching conversation with his dad at his gravesite along with a behind-the-scenes look at that powerful moment.

We spend time on his adultery and the example of grace that his wife set for him and his sons.
