I have a great show for you today with Grammy Award winner, country music superstar John Berry.  We’ll discuss his work with the new Film Beautifully Broken and he talks a great deal about his faith and a very challenging time for his family as he went through a drastic character change.

The focus of the show is the new film Beautifully Broken, out in theaters now in more than 600 theaters nationwide.  

Beautifully Broken is the true story of three fathers – one American, and two Rwandan, who will stop at nothing to protect their children.  As the three men fight to save their families, their lives become intertwined in an unlikely journey across the globe, where they learn the healing power of forgiveness and reconciliation.

Up first, the Director of Beautifully Broken, Eric Welch stops in to share the vision of the movie and its important message.  Eric is no stranger to filmmaking: he’s a Billboard and Dove-winning (and ACM and CMA Nominated) music video director, who has worked with TobyMac, MercyMe, Mandisa, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw and Kid Rock, to name a few. John Berry is an ACM, CMA, and Grammy award-winning country star.  He’s had 20 singles on the country charts including his #1 hit, Your Love Amazes Me.  John opens up about his faith, rough times while on the road, and what it’s like to be a Christian country music star.  We talk about the impact Beautifully Broken had on him. We also chat about his new TV show – Songs and Stories with John Berry.
