As we celebrate the show’s 100th episode, Karin, Joe’s wife thought it would be cool to put him in the interview chair and force him to bare his soul.
Joe is the host of On Faith’s Edge. In the show, he brings you engaging conversations with your favorite Christian entertainers, musicians, authors, professional athletes, comedians, and business influencers. Known for his thought-provoking questions, Joe uncovers intriguing stories of conversions, struggles with faith, and personal victories.
Guests include Grammy Award winners, Dove Award winners, New York Times Best-Sellers, Headlining Comedians, Featured Entrepreneurs and more, including Michael Sweet from Stryper, Mark Lowry, Petra’s John Schlitt, Pat Boone, Joel Smallbone of For King & Country, comedian Chonda Pierce, Danny Gokey, and baseball legend Darryl Strawberry.
Joe became a Christian in the early ‘90s through a methodical, logical process. Once he accepted the fact that there is a God – an entity outside of space and time that created and oversees all that exists – he had to figure out which “God” is the true God. Upon further exploration of many world religions, Joe felt an affinity with Christianity.
Today, Karin talks with Joe about:
- His path from atheist to believer
- Why he calls himself a Recovering Atheist
- How his skepticism and cynicism drive his faith
- The book of the Bible that causes Joe a great deal of angst
- Is God a “jerk”?
